ACF asks France, Spain, Portugal to sanction Russian Deputy Prime Minister

Illustration

The Anti-Corruption Foundation has asked France, Portugal and Spain to facilitate the introduction of European sanctions against Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, her husband Viktor Khristenko and stepson Vladimir Khristenko. The ACF has sent letters on the subject to the foreign ministries of the three countries.

In its recent investigation, the ACF found that Golikova's family owns golf clubs, hotels, and luxury villas in Europe. According to the most conservative estimates, the family's assets are worth 50 billion rubles. This money was earned through a corrupt scheme. Golikova's family built a business on vaccinating Russians, an area Golikova herself controlled in the Russian government for fifteen years. Golikova laundered the stolen money in European countries and spent it on luxury real estate.
